Is our modern life that complex or is the access we have simply exposure to more opportunities for covetousness and idolatry.  Are we truly content with Christ, food and clothing?  Are we seeking first the Kingdom or our comfort, entertainment and pleasure?  Yes, our children can very clearly see the answers to these questions.
What is the authentic Christianity that parents must live in order to pass it on to their children?  If we live godly in this present world and face the challenges as adults in a radical, biblical way then yes, our children will likely follow.  If they don’t, they will know it is Christ they are rejecting and not our hypocrisy.  We must be honest.  The great percentage of young people leaving the church is clear evidence that christian parents in the church, as a whole, are not following Christ. This world is not near as attractive to those who know and have learned the truth.
It is simply time to repent, turn off the entertainment, read the Bible and obey it.

Excellent webcast. Thank you. However, there is one glaring issue that was never addressed regarding young people leaving the church and that is their questioning the validity of several key elements of Christianity. For example the Bible being inerrant/infallible; the history of Christian doctrine and how it was formed; or historical accuracy of Christianity. Young people are challenged about these things constantly and the church often responds in much the same way as it used to regarding the questions raised by science (which you addressed very well). In my conversations with young people this sweeping under the rug is a big turn off.
